الأدب العربي نحو ماذا؟

The Center for Arab Studies of the University of Bucharest organizes the Conference “Arabic Literature, quo vadis?” in hybrid format (online and in situ) from 8 to 9 September, 2022.
Papers are invited in literary studies (literary theory, narratology, literary discourse analysis, historical and conceptual literary theories, aspects of language in literary texts, etc.).
A special section of the conference is dedicated to the Arab writers and the experience of writing literature in today’s world.
Presentations will be allocated 20 minutes each, plus 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should not exceed 200 words, Times New Roman 12, single spaced, and should be submitted at csa.unibuc@gmail.com.
Languages accepted for the conference: Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish
A selection of the papers will be published in the Romano-Arabica Journal, XXII/2022 (more info about Romano-Arabica Journal: https://romanoarabica.academy/). Conference fee: 50 euro (it covers the publication of selected papers).
